Photoshop lab 3& 4 RETOUCHING AND ENHANCING digital photographs
below is how i practiced my skills for retouching and enhancing photos


i used adjustment tools to enhance the colors, the curves tool under adjustment adjust color.i also reduced the opacity to 90% to enhance the green colour of the grass and the blue skies.under the exposure settings i did gamma correcting to 1.23 level,and then use the brush tool to wipe the visible traces in the green grass leaving it uniform

ASSIGNMENT 2 LAYERING

i decided to put a the following background




i used adjustment tools to edit the background picture to make it less bright,also used the curves tool under adjustment adjust color and tonality ,and balanced the colors the color balance.

STEP 3

when i found this picture online i decided to be a little more creative by merging the rising moon in clouds to the road picture above to signify a road to a brighter future.using my photoshop skills i cropped this picture using the crop tool to remove unwanted parts of the picture as shown below:

then i merged the photos,combining with the mmu logo nd tagline
to obtain this final e-wallpaper .i used the function fx tool at the bottom in photoshop to edit the text by clicking on fx then on the drop down menu i chose outer glow,red color,reduced the opacity to 86 percent and checked the pattern overlay,inner glow and drop shadow boxes to end with this text.

E-WallPaper(Assignment 1)











Above are the pictures i am going to use for my e-wall paper...i am yet to upload the screenshots of selection tools because i had to work on some of these images.Check for updates!

SELECTION TOOLS ASSIGNMENT
STEP 1


In this step i used a polygonal lasso tool to select the part i needed so that i can cut it from the whole image

STEP 2


After selecting with the polygonal lasso tool i pressed enter and then i right click on the image to click on select inverse and the delete the unwanted part of the image.

As for the other images there was no need to select,then i opened new file on the Photoshop,chose international page,A4 and paste all images on the same page to come uo with a final JPEG image.
